Monster Juice: Voodoo Grape

The Monster Juice drinks are always good, I don’t think this one is any exception. You can definitely taste that grape juice flavor, but there are some bittersweet hints sprinkled here and there. Very easy to guzzle down/chug, which I don’t recommend people doing, but it’s just how I do things. It’s damn smooth is what I’m mostly trying to say. 

 

Not perfect, though. I feel like the grape flavor is a tad too strong. The aftertaste is kinda good, I guess? But, I mean, no one really drinks energy drinks for the aftertaste. The energy kick is pretty decent for a Monster.

 

Overall, I think this is a good choice for people that like something like Welch’s Grape Ghost, but want a more digestible flavor and kick. I’d say this is better than Rio Punch and Viking Berry, but worse than Mango Loco and Pipeline Punch.

 

Pretty easy drink to find at your local HEB or corner store!
